“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the residents of Glastonbury for twelve years as a member of the Board of Education. During that time, I dedicated myself to meeting the many challenges that the Board faced with thoughtful, experienced decision-making and leadership. I had the opportunity to meet and work with many wonderful and talented people. Working together, regardless of party affiliation, and keeping the town’s best interests at the core of our efforts, is what I believe sustains successful resolve in our community.
I now seek to return to public service as a member of the Glastonbury Town Council because I continue to care deeply about this community, which has been my home for the past 26 years. As a member of the Town Council, I will work to insure long term stability and prosperity for Glastonbury and will continue to work with the Board of Education to support our excellent school system. I am concerned about local, state and federal economic challenges and I am committed to strengthening Glastonbury economic development, fiscal responsibility and accountability. I promise to continue to listen carefully, encourage open and honest discussions and strive to reach consensus whenever possible.
